Botond Ódor, the young Hungarian tenor was born into an artistic family. Due to his mother being a music teacher and his father displaying great talent in photography, he has been surrounded with art, and shown the importance of cultural values ever since a small age. His brother Kristóf grew up to be one of the most sought after actors in Hungary.

Botond studied classical guitar on an academic level in Pécs before switching to opera singing. He completed his opera and vocal studies at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in 2017. He entered and won the 8th József Simándy Singing Competition in 2013, and has been cast in roles varying from the classical to the modern branches of opera. He has worked with a great number of renowned directors both nationally and internationally.
